Samuel Philip Blackwell

Samuel Philip Blackwell, 70, of Charleston passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in a local hospital.  He was a retired General Manager of JIT Terminals in Chattanooga and was an avid outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Steve Blackwell.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Blackwell of Charleston; daughter, Jennifer Goza and husband, Bud of Cleveland; step-son, Scott Teeters of Charleston; three grandchildren, Tiffany Littrell and husband, Heath, Sarah Conrad and husband, Jake and Jacob Goza; step-grandson, Aiden Teeters; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Abby Littrell; brother, Walt Blackwell and friend Sally Adcox and several nieces, nephews and step-niece and step-nephew, Katie and Kendall Rogers.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon , central time, on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Shockley Church of Christ Cemetery in Spencer, TN with David Hicks officiating.   Heath Littrell, Jake Conrad, Jacob Goza, Wes Self and Kendall Rogers will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Fike Randolph and Son Funeral Home.
