Craig Sanford Parrish, 91, of Ponce Inlet FL, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 in a Florida hospital. He was a 1947 graduate of Collegedale Academy and a 1951 graduate of Southern Missionary College. He was veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Bishop Baking Company after 35 years of service. Craig was a founding member and Executive Director for the Cookie and Snack Bakers Association (CASBA) and a retired Board Member of the Hiwassee Chapter of the American Red Cross for 44years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Parrish; parents, Clay and Lucille Parrish and brother, Horace Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Harris; children, Jennifer Coble and husband, Hal and Jana Luellen and husband, Jason; step-children, Lynne and George Parker and their family and Jan Harris and her family; grandchildren, Ashley and Bryan Birmele, Zac Coble, Parker Luellen and Anderson Luellen; great-grandchildren, Anakin and Ysabella Birmele and Baby Girl Birmele due in April 2019.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Elder Harold Cunningham officiating. Interment will be held in Chattanooga National Cemetery Hal Coble, Zac Coble, Jason Luellen, Anderson Luellen, Bryan Birmele, Anakin Birmele, Gene Veazey and Jon Terry Veazey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
