Ruby Lee Hannah Cato, 81, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Cherokee National Forest Service. Ruby was devoted to her family and loved working outside.
She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Eugene Hannah; sister, Virginia Jo Maynor; brother, Bobby Hannah; nephew, Greg Lawson; and special friend, Charles Maynor.
Survivors include her daughter, Teena Cato of Cleveland; mother, Mary Lee Cooke of Cleveland; grandchildren, Piper Woody of Cleveland and Hunter Cato of Corvallis, OR; great-grandchildren, Jessie Cooke and Ellie Young; nephew, Steve Gatlin; and niece, Dida Maynor.
A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony. Steve Gatlin is officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Fike Randolph and Son Funeral Home prior to the service.
