Bobbie Jean Ballew Clayton

Bobbie Jean Ballew Clayton, 89, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at a Dalton, GA health care facility.  She was a member of South Cleveland Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley G. Ballew, Sr.; parents, Coy W. and Lela German Ogle and infant son, Robert G. Ballew.

She is survived by her husband, Max Earl Clayton of Cleveland; three children, Brenda Ballew Jones ( Thomas E.) of Cleveland, Stephen Harley Ballew of Hixson and Harley G. Ballew, Jr. (Brooke) of Senoia, GA; ten grandchildren, Christina Kile (Clay) of Albany, GA, Brian Jones of Cleveland, Hans Ballew (Tracy) of Sevierville, Seth Ballew (Alisha) of Sevierville, Josh Ballew of Sevierville, Amanda Green (Mark) of Cleveland and Josh, Jake Luke and Kayley Ballew of Senoia, GA;  seven great-grandchildren, David Kile, Kamryn Kile, Elijah Ballew, Madeline Ballew, Azariah Ballew, Logan Ballew and Asa Green.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at South Cleveland Church of God with Pastor Kenneth Bowers and Pastor Edwin Lipsey officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 12:00 on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
