Lawana F. Dearnell

July 31, 1943 — November 26, 2017

Lawana F. Dearnell, 74, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017.  She was retired from “His Song Ministries” after ten years of service.  Lawana was a member of the Dwelling Place Church.  She had a passion for her animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Benson Ellis.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Law Ellis of Cleveland; daughter, Jaina Spencer and husband, William of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Raquel Spencer of Dalton, GA and Justin Spencer of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Mary Hollifield and husband, Charles of Mechanicsville, VA; brothers, Donald Ellis and wife, Juanita of Cleveland and Michael Ellis and wife, Wynell of Fort Walton Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews; and her Pomeranian, Maxx.

The service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Tuttle officiating.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Humane Society at SPCA of Bradley County TN, ATTN:  Treasurer, PO Box 703, Cleveland, TN  37364-0703.
