Edna Lynn Johnson, 87, of Riceville, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at her home. She was a retired real estate broker. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Athens Elks Lodge and was a Toastmaster. Her hobbies were art, painting, singing and fishing. She was a member of Charleston First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar T and Carrie Pruitt Colloms; husbands, Stanley Trentham and Johnny Johnson and siblings, Betty Liner, Louise Bowman, Billy Colloms, Clyde Lester Colloms and E.T. Colloms, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Diana (Larry) Bilbrey of Lee Summit, MO, Brenda (Melvin) Gilmore of Tucumcari, NM and Tamara Johnson of Athens, one brother, Carl Colloms of Charleston, three sisters, Jeanette Donaldson (Troy) of Riceville, Ruth Carver of Decatur, Wanda Crittenden (Bill) of Charleston; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held in the chapel of Fike Randolph & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor David Cross and Pastor William Spencer II officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her nephews: Eddie Hamby, Phil Liner, David Crittenden, Roger Crittenden, Randy Maddox and Charles Victor Maddox will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Crittenden and David Colloms.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
