Edith Shannon Morrow

Edith Shannon Morrow, 93, of Delano and formerly of Old Fort, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017.  She was a member of Gateway Church of Christ in Etowah.  She was retired from Hardwick Clothes. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mettie A. Skelton Shannon; husband, Herman Morrow; six brothers, Tom Shannon, Walter Shannon, Johnny Shannon, Boyd Shannon, Winfred Shannon and Sed Shannon; and two sisters, Clara Huskey and Thursie Wilkinson.

Survivors include her stepson, Ron Morrow; two stepdaughters, Judy Rogers and Janice Morrow; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Shannon; and several nieces and nephews, Janice Stephenson, Jerry Shannon, LaVada Huskey Fulton, Dewey Huskey, Richard Huskey, Linda Smith, Robin Shannon, Barbara Lancaster, Cathy Haynes, Betty Miolen, Shirley George and Arlie Shannon.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery with Minister Bill Corn officiating.  The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go to the cemetery.
