Kenneth Charles Ray

December 1, 1950 — June 24, 2017

Kenneth C Ray, age 66, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. 

He worked at Conditionaire Company for forty four years and thirty one of those years he was President and Co-Owner of the company. He served in the Army three years and the Air Force four years. He was a member of Cleveland Christian Fellowship Church for twenty eight years and much of that time he held the position of Head Usher.  His greatest hobbies were going to Tennessee Vols games in Knoxville and being at the beach with his family in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was a wonderful person always helping others.  He loved the Lord and his family very much and he was loved by his family and friends more than words can say. He will be missed so very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C Ray; two brothers-in-law, James (Jim) White and James (Happy) Mallett.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Stokes Ray; his wife of  thirty eight years, Linda B Ray; daughter, Brittney Ray Longwith and husband Terry; son, Derek K. Ray and wife Kelli; grandchildren; Dylan, Gracie, Colee and Braelyn Longwith; sisters, Linda Pennington, Nancy Mallett and Janice White; one brother, Kim Ray and wife Lisa; sister-in-law, Cindy Cross and husband Johnny; brothers-in-law, Timmy Broick and wife Sandy of Michigan, Terry Broick and wife Kathy; two  beloved mothers-in-law, Charlotte Broick and Mary Broick; many nieces and nephews.

You left us love, great memories and a strong family bond.  We look forward to having a future with you in Glory.

The family will receive friends at Fike Randolph & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Strickland officiating. There will be a one hour visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Cleveland Christian Fellowship Church, 695 South Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN 37311
