Betty Ford

September 8, 1934 — March 13, 2017

Betty Ford, 82, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in a local heath care facility.  She was retired from American Uniform.  Betty was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ford; parents, Arthur Franklin Miller and Melinda Ellen Grooms Miller; sister, Julie Mae Wilson; and brothers, Anderson “Jute” Miller and Junior Miller.

 

Survivors include her three children, Robert Lee Ford of Ringgold, GA and Patrician Ann Brown and Karen Louise Sebastian and husband, Gregory Lynn Sebastian, all of Cleveland; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Janice Orr, Jerry Brickman and husband, Clarence and Virginia Myers and husband, John; and several nieces and nephews.

 

The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Tom Wickes officiating.  The interment will follow in Chestuee Cemetery.

 

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
