Cecil Davis

Cecil Davis, 87, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 in a Chattanooga Hospice Facility.  He was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ.  He loved the Lord, family and friends, pets, beekeeping and gardening.  He retired from the stove manufacturing business, working at Dixie Foundry, Magic Chef, and Maytag with over 40 years of service. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, V. Burdetta Davis; daughter, Wanda Sue Davis; parents, Sylvester and Elsie Davis; three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Davis of Hollywood, FL and Amy Michelle Davis of Cleveland; sister, Martha Davis Ross and husband, Robert of Stockbridge, GA; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tex Webb of Cleveland.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Minister Steve Hall and Minister Ted Gobble officiating. 

His family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home.
