David W. Spatafore, Sr.

David W. Spatafore, Sr., 93, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at his residence.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II in the South Pacific.  When he left the military he started his television repair service on Landis Avenue in Vineland, NJ.  He retired from Sears where he was a television repair service technician. David started the Cleveland chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship in the 1970’s and later became the international director of the group.  He attended North Cleveland Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary T. Spatafore; parents, Salvatore and Mammie Marino Spatafore; and sisters, Esther Peters and Dorothy Davis.

Survivors include his children, David Spatafore, Jr. and wife, Donna, Daniel Paul Spatafore and wife, Pharon and Bud Brown and wife, Candy, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Deana Spatafore, Jamie Spatafore and wife, Salina, Emily Spatafore, Tory Spatafore, Mitchell Brown and wife, Emily, Adam Brown and wife, Natalie, Leah Willis and Ely Khules; eleven great grandchildren, Drake, Mallory and Jacoby Gray, Aliya, Maya and Kayla Spatafore, Lily Smith, Parker Garmon, Mitchell Brown, Blake Brown and River; brother, Donald Spatafore of Mansfield, PA; sisters, Betty Smith and Madeline Reynolds, both of Vineland, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating.  Pastor Jim Caywood and Esmeralda Lee will also assist with the service.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
