Mary Lillian Hurst

Mary Lillian Hurst, 61, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at a Dalton, GA health care facility.   She was a member of Elkmont Baptist Church.  Mary was known as “Tuts Mammaw” to many people.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Lillian Belline; sisters, Catherine Stein and Yolanda Belline; and best friend of over 40 years, Glenda Stowers.

 Survivors include her spouse of 27 ½ years, Don Hurst of Cleveland; children, Melissa Dodson of Dalton, GA, Robert Deaver of Cleveland and Jessica Deaver of Maryville; four grandchildren, Jacob Dodson, Lily Dodson, Annabelle Dodson and Aspen Smith; nieces and nephews, Nicole Arp, Christie Stein, Jason Deaver, Pricilla Patrella, Patti Vanoshik, Bobby Stein and Carrie Ann Stein; and 19 great nieces and nephews.

 The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hood officiating.  Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with Clarence Dodson, Jacob Dodson, Tyler Arp, Corbin Woods, Chris Mabe and Jim Deaver serving as pallbearers.

 Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00– 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
