Reba May Rogers

Reba May Rogers, 83, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her home. She was born May 3, 1932 in McMinn County. She was a 1950 graduate of Bradley Central High School. Reba was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Rogers; parents, James Frank and Della Henson May; grandparents, W.B. and Zora Henson; sister, Marion E, May; brother, James Floyd May; and chosen son, Charlie Griffin. Survivors include her three sons, Darrell Rogers, Randy "Doc" Rogers and Alton D. Rogers and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Keaton Rogers, Dylan Rogers, Emily Rogers, Tara (Mark) Miller, Alton (Angela) Rogers, Jr. and Mark (Rusty) Rogers; great grandchildren, Bailey Rogers, Madison Ingram, Hannah Rogers and Anna Lee Miller; niece, Janella (John) Vernor; nephew, Dana May; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Fay Griffin; and special friends, Renee Calfee and Norma Roberts. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dylan Rogers, Mark Miller, Adam Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Larry Hafley and Keith Montgomery serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
