Helen O. Bullock Wright
January 6, 1920 — July 27, 2007
Helen O. Bullock Wright was born on January 6, 1920 in Braggadocia, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2007. After growing up in Missouri, she moved to Flint, Michigan where she worked for General Motors until her retirement in 1975.
Helen moved to Cleveland, Tennessee in 1986 and spent her life making and enjoying good friends. Helen was a faithful member of the Sunday School Encouragers Class of North Cleveland Church of God.
Her husband, Jesse Wright and two brothers preceded her in death.
She is survived by two nieces: Carolyn Bayner and Norma Lou Maxwell both of Crossville, TN; and a host of close friends; two other nieces and four nephews also survive her.
A celebration of her life and home going will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Sanford Hopkins, Marcus Hand and Jack Smith officiating. Interment will be held at the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville, Missouri will be in charge of the interment.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Encouragers Class Ministry Fund, c/o North Cleveland Church of God, 335 11th Street Cleveland, Tennessee 37311.
