Sim Floyd Swafford

Sim Floyd Swafford, age 78, resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Arthur Sterling Swafford and Mary Elizabeth Rayburn Swafford; brothers, T.L. Swafford, Willard Swafford, Bart Swafford and Warren Swafford; sisters: Pearlee Cartwright, Caroline Swafford, Lucinda Belford, Florence Lawson, Eula Leamon and Dovie Abbatto and step daughter, Cathryn Cowart.

He is survived by nieces and nephews: Mitzi Gibson, Gail Carden and husband, Clifford Carden and Jack Leamon all of Cleveland, Nelleda Mayer of Bowling Green, KY, Linda Swafford, Buster Swafford and Beverly Smith all of AL, Carol Murphy, Nancy Richardson, Joyce Fowler, Patti DeNato of Schenectady, NY, Jo Terry Cartwright, J.R. Cartwright, Tommy Cartwright and Douglas Cartwright of Burlington, NC; his former wife, Sarah Bledsoe of Cleveland; one step daughter, Jeanie Goldhagen of Douglasville GA. and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Swafford Cemetery in McMinn County, TN.
