Lois M. Stewart

Lois M. Stewart, age 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. She was a devoted Christian mother. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God since the 1960's. Mrs. Stewart was the daughter of the late William C. and Julia O. Fortner Helton and was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John W. Stewart of Cleveland; one son and spouse: John R. and Nancy Stewart of Honolulu, Hawaii; one daughter and spouse: Judy and Chuck Davidson of Chattanooga; four grandchildren: Kurt Davidson, Kimberly Baxter, Shonna Felkel and Shaun Stewart; two brothers: Lloyd Helton and Luke Helton; two sisters: Shirley Helton and Opeline Ridge several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Her family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
