Anna Lee Parks Thomas

October 22, 1915 — June 2, 2007

Anna Lee Parks Thomas, 91, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 02, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a former office administrator in the medical office of the late Dr. Julian Sullivan for several years. She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, S. Julian Parks and mother, Mattie Shelton Parks, and also by her husband, the late Doyle M. Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas' father was involved in the renovation of First Presbyterian Church in the 1950s and was also involved in the construction of the new Bradley County courthouse in 1964.

She is survived by one sister, Sara Elizabeth Parks of Cleveland.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Joseph Tanner officiating. Pallbearers include David Stover, Terry McCoy, Harley McCafferty, Joe Spencer, Clancey Henley and Taylor Howard.

Her family requests that memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, 433 N. Ocoee Street, Cleveland TN 37311 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Attention Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
