Alice B. Morrison, 100, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 18, 2007.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, B.H. Morrison; parents, James E. and Ethel Sandidge Willis; grandson, Dale Morrison; sister, Mamie Pell and brother, Willard Willis.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice McAlister and husband, Denver of Cleveland; sons, Kinzel Morrison and wife, Edwina of Dalton, GA and Randall Morrison and wife, Linda of Cohutta, GA; seven grandchildren: Donna Hilley, Kathy Coker, Sheila Skidmore, Mark Cameron, David Cameron, Lisa Myers and Karen Maffetone; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Pierce of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2007 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Parm officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery with Randy Skidmore, Mark Cameron, Tom Hilley, Frank Maffetone, David Cameron and Sandy Coker serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
