James Earnest Martin

James Earnest Martin, age 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007 at his residence. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Soddy Daisy. Mr. Martin was the son of the late Robert T. and Myrtle (Rose) Martin and was also preceded in death by his wife, Pruddie Milsap Martin.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Johnson of Chattanooga; one nephew, Fain Pennington; two nieces, Delores Eaves and Doris Fulbright.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Leonard Dodson officiating.
His family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Fike Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Honor Chairman, P.O. Box 1221, Cleveland, Tennessee 37364.
