Beatrice Lindstrom

Beatrice Lindstrom, age 79, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at her home and was pronounced dead at SkyRidge Medical Center. She loved music and wrote songs and poems. She played the guitar and loved going to the nursing home and singing and playing for the patients which is something she really enjoyed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar A.Godfrey and Lola Godfrey; five brothers, Frank Godfrey, Lewis Godfrey, Tommy Godfrey, David Godfrey and Teddy Godfrey.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lindstrom of Cleveland; two sons, Daniel Parkin of Cleveland and Jeffery Lindstrom who is serving in Kuwait; two grandchildren, Corey Heath and Anna Heath both of Cleveland; one brother, Jake Godfrey of Reliance; two sisters, Johnnie Holmes and Bobbie Gupton both of Dalton, Georgia; special friends, Donna Faye Truelove of Cleveland and Andera Brown of Georgia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Frank Sims, Bill Sexton and Donna Faye Truelove speaking at the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the funeral home.
