John Kenneth 'Buck' Jordan

John Kenneth "Buck" Jordan, age 71, of Georgetown passed away Sunday July 16, 2006 at his home. He was a native of Jasper, TN. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He was formerly employed with Todd Manufacturing and Simpson Bridge Company and retired from the Meigs County Road Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents Dee and Gertrude Collins Jordan.

He is survived by two sons and spouses: Dale and Carol Jordan and Michael and Melissa Jordan all of Cleveland; one daughter and spouse, Lynn and Dewayne Bowman of Cleveland; the mother of his children, Barbara Jordan of Cleveland; one brother, Harley Jordan of Chattanooga; two sisters: Kate Kilgore of Dechard, TN and Iona Billingsley of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren: Jeremy Jordan, Stacey Myers, Tiffany Walker, Heath Jordan, Brad Jordan, Cody Jordan, Brandon Bowman and Holden Bowman; and five great-grandchildren: Kari Jordan, Seth Meyers, Syi Myers, Kylie Jordan and Trevor Walker.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will follow in Johnston Cemetery in Meigs County with military honors

His family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
