Frances Irene Hambright

Frances Irene Hambright, 86, a lifelong resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, July 03, 2007 at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hambright was preceded in death by her parents, Repsy Lafon Tinsley and Vida Bacon Tinsley; her husband, Fred Arnold Hambright; three sons; Kenneth Hambright, Lafon (Fonny) Hambright and David Hambright; two brothers: R.L. Tinsley and Kenneth Tinsley.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Hicks and husband, Joe (Buddy) Hicks of Cleveland and their children: Vicki Peterson of Nashville and Kevin Hicks and wife, Leslie of Cleveland; daughter, Rebecca Nolen of Cleveland and her children: Jill Cate Kisling and husband, Tommy of Lookout Mt, GA and James Robert (Rob) Cate of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter-in-law, Rose Walker Hambright of Charleston and her children: Arnold Hambright of Charleston and Kelli Davis of Cleveland; and several great grandchildren and many cherished friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Bill Hughes, Bob Hughes, Philip Shelton, Kevin Hicks, Rob Cate, Arnold Hambright and Whitfield McDonald serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the funeral home.
