Sarah Grace Finnell

Sarah Grace Finnell, age 88, a loving mother and grandmother and lifelong resident of this area, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Ball Play Baptist Church. Mrs. Finnell was a retired seamstress and was formerly employed at Margaret's House of Fashion for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Daly Fletcher and Cornie Arthur Fletcher; her husband of 53 years, William Leonard Finnell as well as several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry Finnell and Carolyn Finnell; one daughter, Shirley Griffin; four grandchildren: Kimberly Shay and spouse, Mike Shay, Chalea Terry and spouse, Kevin Terry, Whitney Finnell and Tyler Finnell; three great grandchildren: Mallori Terry, Coleton Terry and Darbi Shay.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The service will conclude with the release of a flock of white doves.
