Scott Chumney, age 49, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2006 in Hamilton County. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a boating enthusiast and a member of a local boating association. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, B. W. and Neva Chumney and Curt and Johnnie Morris.
He is survived by his parents, Gary M. and Doris Morris Chumney of Cleveland; sister, Kimesa Dawn Stafford and husband, Greggory of Stockbridge, GA; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend William Thomas officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Gardens with John Burris, Rick Blackwell, Ronnie Payne and Glenn Stone serving as pallbearers.
