Reba Creola Cartwright, 67, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away December 31, 2007 in a local hospital.
She was a member of Heritage Fellowship Church in McDonald and attended Lakeview Church of God. She was employed by the Bradley County School System for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Cartwright; son, Kenny Joe Cartwright; parents, John Cross and Helen Hartness Cross Lawson; sister, Margie Jacks and brothers, Johnny Cross and James Brumblow.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Cartwright; stepson, Donnie Cartwright and stepdaughter, Judy Cartwright all of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren: Stephanie Cartwright, Daniel Cartwright, Jonathan Freeman, Chris Cartwright, Shane Gates and Shelia Gates; 8 great grandchildren; brothers: Winford (Junior) Cross and Carl Ruth; sisters: Faye Burns, Betty Moore, Tammy Pell and Teresa Creasman all of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Gilbert and the Reverend James Castello officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
