Dorothy Ann Hughes Scalla, 78 of McDonald, TN went into eternal rest on December 9, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Scalla; Children, Michael (Kellie) Scalla, Angela (Scott) Johnson, Matthew (Melissa-Rose) Scalla; grandchildren, Jared Scalla, Chandler Scalla, Gage Johnson, Gehrig Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Rachel-Anne Scalla, Collin Scalla; great-grandchildren, Ramsey and Lily Cannon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 4-7 P.M. with the Rosary Prayer beginning at 6:45 P.M at Fike Randolph & Son Funeral Home, 2415 N. Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Cleveland, TN. Interment will be at 1:30 PM in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with a White Dove Release Ceremony with the playing of Bagpipes. In Lieu of funeral flowers and gifts, the Scalla family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Therese Catholic Church for the purchase of flowers for upcoming Mass celebrations.
