Edna Mae Gregg

Edna Mae Gregg, 95, of Cleveland passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 in a local healthcare facility. She had joined her Savior in her eternal heavenly home where she was welcomed with open arms by her son.  We can only imagine that glorious reunion.  Our loving, spunky and independent grandmother was a shining example of living a tenacious life overflowing with a moxie.  Edna was of the Church of God faith.

She will always be remembered by the comforts she provided in her spaghetti, coconut pies, chocolate nut cake and after school cornbread and milk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie Lee Pass and Mary Elizabeth Black Pass; son, Charles Jerry Gibson, Sr.; brother, George Lee Pass; and sister, Irene Pass McDowell.

Survivors include her chosen daughter, Mitzi Gibson; grandchildren, Charles Jerry Gibson, Jr. (Tonya), Wendee Gibson and Kim deRoos (Tim); great grandchildren: Alexis Channing Biggs (C.J.), Charles Jerry Gibson, III, “Trey” (McKenzie Killebrew), “My Girl” Breelee Starr Lynn (Kylar) and Natalie Kaprese Ingram (Drew); great-great grandchildren, Florence May Biggs, Lillie Kaprese Ingram, Lexie Kimber Ingram, Layna Klaire Ingram, and two on the way, Selah Rose Biggs and baby boy Lynn; and an abundance of special nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor C.J. Biggs officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jerry Gibson, Trey Gibson, Kylar Lynn, Tim deRoos, Hunter Peterson and Zach Carden serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
