John Stephen Slifko

John Stephen Slifko, 60, of Birchwood, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 in a local hospital.   He was retired from Enertec and enjoyed maintaining and spending time on his family’s farm. He loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.  John was of the Christian faith and was a loving grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Slifko; and sister, Becky Shelton.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Slifko; children, Matt (Macy) Slifko, Chad (Shianne) Slifko and Cecily Slifko, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Troy Maney, Victoria Maney and Saylor Slifko; siblings, Michael Slifko, Mary Dixon, Susan Rutt and Samuel Slifko; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Griffith officiating. 

A gathering of friends will take place before the memorial service Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
