Julian Calvin Fortner

Julian Calvin Fortner, 89, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in a local hospital. Mr. Fortner was of the Baptist faith. He was a 22 year veteran of the US Air Force and the US Army serving as an Electronic Engineer. In 1966 he served in the 12^th TAC Fighter Wing at Cam Rhan Bay, Vietnam and in 1968 in the 31^st TAC Fighter Wing at Tuewah, Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles H. and Lillie M. McCracken Fortner; and brother, Donald Fortner.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.                    

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Doyle McCracken officiating. The service will conclude with military honors.

His family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.
