Mark Warren James, 66, of Cleveland died Friday, August 13, 2021. He was the son of the late Warren and Avis Bass James. Mark worked as a Senior Psychological Examiner for twenty-seven years. He was an accomplished weaver and gave freely of his talent to family, friends, and church, St. Luke’s Episcopal.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joey James; two children: Kendra (Martin) McDonald and Alex (Trey) Allen; grandchildren, Lilly and Skyler McDonald; and brother, Jay Dewey James.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Father Joel Huffstetler officiating. Due to rising COVID numbers, the family requests that all church protocol be followed and for guests to wear masks and practice social distancing. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to thank the very special Hearth Hospice caregivers, April, Gail, and Stacy for the excellent and loving care they provided.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
