Peggy C. Thompson

Peggy C. Thompson, 89, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Peggy was a very loving mother and grandmother, she dearly loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading her Bible, feeding and watching birds, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Thompson; son, Bill Thompson; parents, Ebb and Lillie Stepp Green; step-father, Ervin Trentham; and brothers, Lloyd Stepp and Edward Trentham ; great grand- daughter, Morgan Ensley.

Survivors include her son, Roger Thompson (Gail); daughter, Debbie Ensley (Ken); seven grandchildren: Brian Thompson (Corey), Nathan Thompson (Amanda), Scotty Thompson, Keith Thompson (Angel), Daniel Ensley (Bailey Davis), and Leah Ensley (Blake Metcalf) and Matthew Ensley (Mandy); sisters, Helen Trentham and Jo Ann Young; nine  great grandchildren: Myles Thompson, Sadie Thompson, Jett Thompson, Jasper Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Claire Thompson, Sutton Thompson, Britton Thompson, Mason Thompson.  ; four  great grandchildren, Blake Thompson, Hannah Cortez (Yaniel), Kaylee Kiniry (Trent), and Ethan Ensley (Lauren);  two great-great grandchildren, Aria Cortez and Khover Kiniry;  several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jerri Jones, Donna Walker, Tammy Smith, and Cassie Keller.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with the Reverend Clifford Chambers officiating. Nathan Thompson, Brian Thompson, Scotty Thompson, Keith Thompson, Daniel Ensley, Blake Thompson, Mason Thompson and Matthew Ensley will serve as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
