Rachel Pearl Goins

Rachel Pearl Wilson Goins, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Avail Senior Living.

She was born on June 8, 1924 in McMinn County, Tennessee and she was of the Baptist faith. 

She was the daughter of the late Forrest Greely Wilson and Annie Jenkins Wilson.

Her husband E. Haven Goins, son Preston H. Goins, brothers Lester Wilson, Lawrence Wilson, Roy Wilson, Dellis Wilson, Ray (Bud) Wilson, and sisters Lucille Wilson Davis and Ruby Wilson Longwith also preceded her in death.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Avail Senior Living who loved her and displayed compassionate and devoted care every day for almost two years.

A graveside service was held Friday, March 8, 2024 at Fort Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Philip Caines officiating.
