R.L. Ledford

Rev. R. L. Ledford, 85, a resident of Bradley Healthcare for the past 2 years passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020. R.L. served in the military for a few years and was a member of Southview Baptist Church. He was employed with Bradley Healthcare for several years in the Janitorial Dept. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Allie Prince Ledford; brothers, George Ledford and Ralph Ledford; sisters, Stella Gregg and Emma Lee Trentham; he was also preceded by the mother of his children, Edna Elizabeth Ledford and his second wife, Marie Ledford. Survivors include his two sons, Ronald (Judy) Ledford, and Rickey (Mary) Ledford; daughter, Deborah (Jimmy) Carden; three grandsons, Daniel (Heather) Ledford, William (Kelly) Ledford, and Josh (Alisha) Carden; five great grandchildren, Aubrey, Emily, Jacob, and Katilyn Ledford, and Casey Cheek; sister, Gladys Floyd; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with his son, Ronald Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
