Roy F. Pierce

Roy F. Pierce, 89, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Bowater.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton F. and Arey Etta Duggan Pierce; brothers, Gene Pierce, Ralph Pierce and Paul Pierce; and sisters, Nell Lyle and Ruth Pirkle.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Barnes Pierce of Cleveland; children, Vicki (Duane) Sullivan, Brian (Ginger) Pierce, Trace (Allison) Pierce and Kellye (Brian) Collins; grandchildren, Josh (Tera) Pierce, Joby (Jamie) Pierce, Logan Pierce, Holland Pierce, Ashlyn Pierce, Corbin Pierce, Brad Collins, Pierce Collins and Pete Collins; great grandchildren, Caleb Pierce, Callie Pierce and Drake Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Skip White officiating.  Josh Pierce, Joby Pierce, Logan Pierce, Corbin Pierce, Pierce Collins, Pete Collins, Caleb Pierce and Drake Pierce will serve as pallbearers.  Military honors and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
