Seth Bernhardt Champion, age 34, passed away in Guadalajara, Mexico on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved to Montgomery. Seth resided in Atlanta for 10 years, working in the logistics sector for Echo Global and CH Robinson. More recently he moved to Mexico to teach English as a second language to business professionals.

A devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, Seth brought love, compassion, and humor to all those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his mother, Bettie Bernhardt Borton and her husband, Thomas E. Borton, III, of Cleveland, TN; stepmother, Susan Champion of Atlanta, GA; sister and brother- in- law, Gabriell and Brian Champion, both of Atlanta, GA; sister and brother-in-law,  Victoria Champion and Daniel Conway, nephew, Lochan, and sister, Sarah Simmons Ames, all of San Antonio, TX; and stepbrothers, James Borton and Thomas E. He was preceded in death by his father, James Kenneth Champion; grandparents; Lorraine and James Champion and Helen and George Bernhardt; and his brother-in-law, Edward Sweeney Ames.

Seth will be missed by so many, but we rejoice that he is at peace in the presence of God and is reunited with the many loved ones who have preceded him.
