Sheila Pierce Kinder

On September 23, 2023, Sheila Kinder was welcomed into her Heavenly home by her Lord and Savior 
Jesus Christ, as well as numerous family members and friends. She passed away peacefully at her home. 
She was 60 years old and had been sick for several years. In spite of her illness, she maintained a joyful 
attitude with a winsome smile. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Sheila was a native of McDonald, Tennessee. She was an outstanding wife, daughter, mother, and 
grandmother. She had a deep love for God. She was a loving caregiver to numerous animals. 

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Margaret Pierce. 

Left to cherish their numerous memories of her are her husband of 37 years, Tony Kinder; daughter 
Laura Bible and son-in-law, Matthew Bible; and her three grandchildren whom she adored: Winston, 
Evan, and Meredith Rose Bible, all of Cleveland, TN. 

A brief time of visitation will be held at Fike Randolph & Son Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN on Monday, September 25, 
2023, from 10 – 11 AM. Afterwards, the family will have a graveside service at Lee Cemetery in 
McDonald, TN, at approximately 11:30 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Society for the 
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Bradley County, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. An act 
of kindness toward another person or a pet, or a prayer for someone, would also be an excellent way of 
remembering her.
