Vestal L. Boring

Vestal L. Boring, 88, of Benton, passed away, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her residence.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton and a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ocoee Chapter.  She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, Class of 1947.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Wade Boring and parents, Garland and Mae Buchanan Moore.   She is survived by her; daughter and son-in-law, Garlinda and Terry Moses of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Ervin and Sharon Boring of Navarre, Florida; grandchildren and spouses, April and Brad Johnston of Athens and Jeremy and Cassy Moses of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Anson Johnston and Aubrey Johnston of Athens and Chloe Moses and Blaine Moses of Knoxville; sisters, Geneva Broomfield and Betty (George) Martin of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.   The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Robbie Speights and Pastor Chris Everhart officiating.  Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. on Monday at the church prior to the service.   We invite you to send a message of condolence and view the Boring family guestbook at www.fikefh.com.
