William J. Moorhouse, Jr.

William J. Moorhouse, Jr., 83, a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

 Mr. Moorhouse was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a marksman shooter. He was an avid supporter of the Polk County Ramp Tramp and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nina Ovilla Moorhouse; brother, Joseph Pryor; and sisters: Anna Kelley, Mildred Roach, Imogene Trewhitt, Peggy Sones Wood, Joyce Hueg, and Mary Moorhouse.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Moorhouse; daughter, Kimberly Lorello (Mark) of Cleveland; grandchildren: Mena Golden (Talon) of Benton, Sarah Choat (Mark Blaylock) and Kathryn Alhindi both of Cleveland; great grandchildren: Aeris Golden and Soriah Golden, Braedon Choat and Kaden Choat; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Old Ocoee Cemetery in Benton with military honors.
