William Herman Myers

William “Herman” Myers, 63, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home. He was born to the late Charlie and Willie Mae Myers on June 10, 1957. He was of the Baptist faith. He was known for being a diligent worker. He was an M&M Mars retiree and employed at CMC. Over the years he has enjoyed his Harley Davidson, boating on the Hiwassee, and was always on one of his lawnmowers, mowing a different yard every day. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dianne Myers; mother-in-law, Barbara Stepp (Roy); sisters-in-law, Kelly Guffey (Joe), and Kathi Mowery (Jerry), brother-in-law, Tony Thatch (Lisa); nephew, Corey Thatch (Michelle); nieces, Cassidy Turner (Johnathon), and Cayci Freeman (Eric); great niece, Amelia Turner; great nephew, Cooper Freeman; and aunt and uncle, Stan and Jerri Smith. The family will hold a private memorial. The family request, in lieu of flowers, that donations in Herman’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital.
